The Kent Downs AONB is a farmed landscape and its local communities take great pride in the area’s high quality produce, available in local shops, pubs, restaurants and accommodation. Sample the fruit, beer, cider and juices, lamb, pork, fresh vegetables and salads, cheeses and preserves. See the map for a selection of pubs and restaurants. Many serve fresh produce from the Downs.

A programme of farm walks takes place in the Kent Downs in early summer. Meet the farmers, sample some produce and see how farmers manage the landscape that we all enjoy. Go to our News and Events page for details of the programme.
