Travel to the Kent Downs

The Kent Downs are well served by the Southeastern railway, with around 40 stations in and bordering the AONB.For information on train times and engineering works, call National Rail Enquiries on 08457484950. Alternatively, go their website at www.nationalrail.co.uk

There are plenty of circular walking routes from stations such as Chilham, Wye, Charing, Lenham and Hollingbourne. Go to our walking page for details.

Getting to the Kent Downs from Mainline Europe

Two train services and a number of ferry companies serve Kent from the continent, with easy access to the Kent Downs from the Port of Dover and Eurotunnel and Eurostar terminals. Follow the links through to their websites or call the numbers listed:
