The Kent Downs has a great deal to offer whether you are visiting for an hour, a day or a week! An extensive rights of way network enables you to explore the countryside on foot, cycle and horseback. Discover the landscape and enjoy the wildlife by visiting the many countryside sites, woodlands and nature reserves. Look out for areas managed by the Kent Wildlife Trust, Countryside Projects, Woodland Trust, English Nature and Forestry Commission.

The Kent Downs has a wealth of historic sites and properties such as Chartwell House, Ightham Mote and the Westerb Heights at Dover.
