Kent Countryside Award

The search is on to find Kent’s farmers, growers, food  producers and rural businesses  contributing to the benefit of the Kent countryside.

The award, sponsored by the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the High Weald AONB is backed by the Kent National Farmers Union, the Kent Country Land and Business Association (CLA) and Kent County Agricultural Society and recognises the hard work that goes into caring for Kent's countryside and its environment by those that are working on the land or are a rural business.

The entry needs to show what you do to care for the countryside where your business is situated and how you look after the environment too. The business must be either using Kent produce, or growing, producing or farming in the county. The types of business that can enter include all farmers, B&Bs using Kent produce, horticulture and food and drink producers, but this list is not exhaustive so if you are not sure if your business is eligible then  please ask.

Please complete the application form and add any photogrpahs or extra pages as you wish. If you would like to talk through your application then please contact Nick Johannsen on telephone number 01303 815170 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
