The Kentish Stour Countryside Project has produced two series of cycling booklets – Meanders along the River Stour, and Bike Trails by Rail in the Stour Valley – featuring maps and detailed information on each route. You can purchase these booklets through Kent County Council.

Details of the National Cycle Network can be found on the Sustrans site. Route 18 passes through the Mid Kent Downs.
