General James Wolfe spent his early years in this gabled, red-brick house of 16th-century origin, extended in the 17th century. The low-ceilinged, panelled rooms contain memorabilia relating to his family and career and the Tudor stable block houses an exhibition about the Battle of Quebec (1759).
