There are many events and activities taking place across the AONB providing all sorts of opportunities to get out into the Downs. There is a programme of Farm Walks organised by the Kent Downs AONB Unit, guided walks, volunteer activities and open days.

Come down to Rancho Trosley for this cowboy and indian themed event. Make an indian headdress or help paint our totem pole. Face paints available for mums to paint their squaws and braves. Follow our cattle trail, collect the clues, come back to the old Trosley creek to pan for gold and exchange for a treat. Bring a packed lunch or order a pack up in the morning from our chuck wagon kiosk (hot and cold options available at extra charge). Join us then for frontier land magic in the afternoon. Fancy dress welcomed. Suitable for children 3 - 11 years and under 8's must be accompanied by an adult. Booking required. £6.50 per child. 11.00am to 15.30 pm.
