Bromley's Countryside and Parks Service (CMPS) promotes a co-ordinated approach to managing the countryside within the London Borough of Bromley. It works together with people associated with a living, working landscape and much is achieved through wide-ranging partnerships with statutory and voluntary bodies and private landowners. The CMPS plays a strategic role, through the proposed Darwin at Downe World Heritage Site, Bromley Biodiversity Action Plan and the Kent Downs AONB, for example. The CMPS has an active role in encouraging an appreciation of nature, an enjoyment of the countryside and the appropriate care of it. For more information about how the CMPS can help you, see www.bromley.gov.uk and type in Countryside and Parks Service in the search facility. |
