Cobham Wood is 165 acres of restored wood pasture located within Historic Cobham Park, and is home to the Grade I listed Darnley Mausoleum, originally completed in 1786 as the intended resting place of the 3rd Earl.

Visitors can see many fine examples of veteran oak, hornbeam and sweet chestnut trees, many of the latter planted by the renowned landscape architect Humphry Repton 200 years ago. Visitors can also experience stunning views of the Thames Estuary, the North Downs, and the Elizabethan Cobham Hall (now a private school). Entrance to the woods is free of charge.

You can also absorb the atmosphere at the recently restored Darnley Mausoleum which was featured on the BBC 'Restoration' programme.
